Index Databases provide a way to locate bibliographic citations
for journal and newspaper articles as well as books and other materials.
Four types of databases are available: Indexes and Abstracts, E-Journal
Collections, E-Newspaper Collections, and Catalogs.
The Reference Shelf presents searchable databases such as the Encyclopedia
Britannica and the Foundation Directory.
The E-Journals site provides access to electronic versions of over
650 print journals.
Tools for searching the web include: Search Engines, MetaSearch
Engines, Directories, and "Deep" or "Invisible"
Web Guides.
